Boardmasters Surf and Music Festival

Where to find us at Cornwall's biggest celebration of sound and surf.

Published on Tue 19 Mar, 2019

Five days of music, surf and like-minded souls on England’s best beaches. What more could you possibly want from the festival that is of course Boardmasters{target=_blank}?

The Ongosa Team works with many surf schools that soak up the 300 miles of Cornish coastline, including Cornish Wave{target=blank}, George Stoy Surf Coaching{target=blank}, and Westcountry Surf School{target=_blank}.

We’re super stoked to watch the World Surf League events{target=_blank} unfold at Fistral beach - the home of British surfing in Newquay. Its consistent high-quality surf on a long white-sand beach surrounded by cliffs makes it the perfect spot for tourists and locals alike to get amongst the action.

Where to Find Us

Ongosa’s Head of Surf, Matt, and Marketing Executive, Sam will be amongst the action, setting up camp in the main festival whilst catching up with Ongosa’s network of surf pros in and around Fistral Beach, Thursday through to Monday.

You’ll be sure to find the pair watching all of the pros battle it out to claim world champion titles and a boardmasters trophy{target=blank}. We’re rooting for world and European surf champion, Edouard Delpero{target=blank} who will be competing for the European Longboard champion title. We’ve worked with the Delpero brothers this summer, as they own Delpero Surf Experience{target=_blank} in Biarritz. When the sun’s gone down you’ll find Sam and Matt amongst the 50,000 festival goers no doubt jamming to headliners, George Ezra and The Chemical Brothers.

Look out for our Ongosa T-Shirts, and come say hi!

Saving the Environment

We plan to see the most environmentally-friendly Boardmasters yet, with a litter bond on 40,000 camping tickets coupled with support from SAS{target=_blank}, who received £20,000 from the Boardmasters Foundation to keep Britain’s beaches clean.

For live updates on our whereabouts

Follow the action on Twitter{target=blank}, Facebook{target=blank} and Instagram{target=_blank} throughout the four-day festival to see where we are, and what we’re up to.
