Over the past 20 years Olly has skied and climbed all over the world; from chasing powder in Russia to scaling rock in Yosemite and climbing vertical ice in Cogne, Italy.
He has climbed extensively throughout the French, Swiss and Italian Alps ascending many classic North faces such as the Eiger, Matterhorn and Grandes Jorasses.
He is an enthusiastic skier and has spent many seasons honing his off-piste skills. Olly's aim is to pass on his passion for the mountains and provide a superb experience to match clients’ aspirations at all levels.
Olly has a traditional mountaineering, rock climbing and ice climbing background. This includes hundreds of routes throughout the UK and Europe with ascents of winter climbs up to VII,7 on sighted E6 and sport 8a. As well as being an IFMGA-qualified international mountain guide, Olly is also a member of the British Ski Mountaineering team and compete in the World Championships every year. He has also worked extensively in film and T.V. including stunt work for films such as “Touching the Void”. Olly has competed in many world cup ski randonnée races with team GB and holds the British record for the Patrouille du Glacier of just 8 hours!
