Tania grew up in Chelmsford, Essex and got into mountaineering whilst studying at Bristol University. After five years serving in the British Army she moved to Chamonix and worked as a Military Mountain Guide and on overseas mountaineering expeditions for over 10 years. Tania qualified as an IFMGA Guide in September 2013. She continues to share her time between organising Mountaineering and Skiing expeditions for Oxford University Officers Training Corps and her wider guiding work.

Tania particularly enjoy exploring the European alps on skis and has an extensive personal knowledge of ski touring areas from the Alpes des Sud and the Mercantour to the Eastern Alps beyond the Gross Glockner. If you are looking for a wilderness adventure on skis this winter then Tania would be very pleased and excited to inspire you with ideas.
