I began ski instructing as a hobby, gaining a rudimentary qualification and teaching weekends and evenings at the local dry ski slope in Hemel Hempstead in 2004. In 2007, I decided to put my business career on hold while I spent a winter working in Zermatt, Switzerland and gained further ski instructor qualifications. That was it, my life had changed dramatically. I went to Australia to teach skiing the following summer and my goal was set. I wanted to gain the highest ski instructor qualification possible and make a life for myself in the mountains. I taught for 4 years in Switzerland managing and developing a elite ski instructor training centre before moving to France, the home of my now wife. I have aspired to develop a wide range and a depth of knowledge gained from various ski instruction systems including the British Association of snowsports instructors, the Irish Association of snowsport instructors, Swiss Snowsports, Snowsports England and Snowsports Scotland. I love the variety in teaching all levels of skier and sharing my enthusiasm for enjoying the mountains.
“Excellent instructor. Clear, learnt masses. Also had the essential good sense of humour! Could not recommend highly enough..”
Thank you for a brilliant moguls ski lesson (which happened to be my first lesson in 35 years of skiing).
I like good people, good places and good food and wine! I love being active and participate in as many sports as I can, golf and tennis being the main summer ones, while balancing that with my wife's favourite pastime of eating out!
