I started Rock Climbing and Instructing in Devon during 1998 and now enjoy being an “all round” climber on rock, ice and skiing on hills at home and abroad. Mountaineering and Rock climbing has taken me all over the world including expeditions to Tibet, Nepal, Alaska, Argentina, The Tien Shan and New Zealand. I have led expedition clients on technical mountains in some fantastic areas, with Nepal being the favorite spot I keep returning too. During the summer and winter months I base myself out of Chamonix, France. Running scheduled trips and bespoke private guiding all over the alps.
SKI GUIDE IN CHAMONIX “Thanks Team Ongosa for helping to organize our recent trip to Chamonix where we tackled the 22km Vallee Blanche. Our guide Ben was awesome and picked a great route for us down some steeper sections onto the Mer de Glace. The itinerary included a huge amount of fresh powder, a high speed descent down some challenging backcountry couloirs and a couple of much needed rest stops at secluded mountain refuges. It was so good we went back up for more! It was the best days snowboarding I've ever done.” Dave Holmes, March 2016 Thanks Ben for possibly the best day off piste powder skiing in 20 years…Just awesome thank you, when can I come back?!! Sally, 2016
