Progression Ski & Snowboard School was set up in Val d'Isere in 2006, has grown ever since and is now regarded as one of the leading ski & snowboard schools in the Alps. Now providing lessons in Val d'Isere, Tignes, Les Gets, Morzine, the Chamonix Valley and Ste Foy Progression has grown year on year on the back of great customer care and instruction. Set up by Ken Smith, a long time resident of Val d'Isere, Progressions focus is on the client and the clients needs. This idea seemed obvious but was often not the main focus or driving force behind many schools. The idea was that the service was not just the lesson itself but the whole experience from the first phone call, through the visit and beyond and that this service should be for young and old, beginner to expert.
"Dear Ken Thank you very much for all your help this season and doing such a wonderful job with all our clients. Most of our guests learnt more from you and your team in three hours than they have in the last three years. Thank you again for being so patient with us even at 10 o'clock on Sunday night! It was great for me to work with someone I knew I could completely rely on. All my guests commented on our choice of ski school. If they enjoy their lesson and improve they invariably enjoy their holiday making my life so much easier. Thanks again for all your help and best of luck in 06/07. Yours" “We were looking for an instructor who could get me back on skis and teach our 6 year old daughter. Our daughter has some coordination difficulties so we were concerned that she would find skiing very difficult. Luckily for us we were assigned Karen who was just perfect in every way. Thanks to her skill, patience and friendly manner Florence loved every minute of her lessons. Karen also got me confidently back on my skis after a 12 year gap which was no mean feat! We will be back next spring!” "Our first family ski holiday was very much enhanced by having Ken and Aaron as our ski instructors. They are professional but with a very human touch to the approach they use. This enables them to connect with kids, experienced skiers and petrified non-sporty mums. Just brilliant"
